My Guide

          

          Hi everyone, my name is Faith Burden. I would like to talk to you about my fear. As I was being called to write this devotion I was very afraid that I wasn't going to be taken seriously since I was young. I tried praying and asking God, "Don't you want someone older to do this?" Then I saw a verse that said, " don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the Believers in speech, and conduct, and love, and faith and in purity." (1 Timothy 4:12). Then, I realized that I can still make a difference even if I'm young. After that, the devil tried to scare me again by saying that I wouldn't know what to say. In my devotions, both said something about how God used the lowly people that didn't know how to speak (Exodus 4:10-12) and God helped them and gave them the words to say. I then found my confidence in God and His word. (Jeremiah 17:7, Romans 10:197, Psalm 130:5). I knew God would help me through this. I know God can move through me, if I show love. 

(1 Chorinthians 13:1-3). God is there through our highs and lows. God has moved and worked so much in my life, by helping me with my anxiety, depression, fear, and OCD. He has guided me through the hard and dark times. Even though God doesn't always give us what we want, he gives us what we need, and sometimes we need a no. We may think that God isn't doing the right thing, but God knows what is best for his children and what will hurt them. This is my 3 minutes of true faith to glorify God. Let us go and show God that we are his loyal children. Trust God and be happy. I love you, God loves you, and there's nothing you can do about it.
