Jesus washed the wicked

Something that is hard to learn but that we all should learn is to love. Love in the midst of circumstances. Thinking back in the Bible to God's love, we can see that God Loved A betrayer, a murderer, and those who went against his every belief. Yet, He never stopped showing them love. In
John 13:1-17, Jesus washes the feet of his disciples, that includes Judas who betrayed Him, Peter who denied Him, and Thomas who doubted Him. Washing people's feet in that day and time was a servant's job. So just think about how Jesus gave up His role of being in power and a king and lowered himself to the point of the servant and a Slave for those He loved. Think of the most you have ever loved Someone and what you would do for that person. In John 3:16, it says:
For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
God sent his son to be tortured and beaten, hung on a cross until death and was pierced in His side. Would you give up a son and let him go through that pain for the world. I hope that shows you how much God loves you. We are called to share that love and we may not give up a son but we can love those who have gone against us. We don't have to love their sin or what they do but we can love them as a person. One thing I've had to learn is that showing the love of Christ can reach someone who is in need of a savior. We are called to love, however, a trend that I see is that we push people out of our lives that don't give something back to us or do right to us. No, I don't think you should stay in abusive relationships or anything like that, but God calls us to love the unlovable, and not only that, to pursue the unlovable. Romans 5:8 also shows that God is love.
Luke 6:
32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them.

Acts 13:
47 For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,
"I have made you a light for the Gentiles,
that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth."

Roman's 10:
13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

Please listen to the lyrics of this song very closely, it is an amazing song about Peter.
