Rebellion of Righteousnes


Sometimes we want to rebel. We often get faught against in our faith and we think well why can't I just be rude or yell to get my point across? God calls us to love but that can be hard. While we try to fight against the devil we still have to be Christ like. This weekend I was at Dare to Share Live. They focus on reaching out to teenagers and teaching them to share. As they focused on making a difference they mentioned how we can be in a righteous rebellion. We can change the way people look at us because no one does it this way. We can pray together. Go to schools and have devotions. God was not liked by a lot of the religious pharisees because he was changing things in a manner that changed hearts and brought love. It is rebellious to be Christ like because sinning is no longer rebellious because everyone is doing it. People will remember your love shown and Christ like character more than the normal sinful character that is easily angered. Imagine if someone came and you were rushed and they just said take your time its completely fine. Most would make you feel more rushed or put more pressure on you. You can remember that throughout your day and week. Unfortunately, often times christians, are more known for our hate than our love. We need to trust in God to help us through times of our lives that may make us want to be hateful. We should share the love of God and the gospel with people. I dare you to share the gospel with those around you . So many of us have gone numb to the good news of the gospel. We should be excited and have joy because of sharing. I know that it's hard and scary sometimes but we can plant a seed even if we never see it bloom.

What is Love?

     The question that we all ask ourselves at some point in our lives is, “what is love?” Is it, doing things for others, is it seeming to enjoy being with someone more than just as friends. Is it a sacrifice? Is it 50-50 I do something for you, you do something for me. Is it blind? There are a lot of views and opinions on what love could be and what it isn’t. I think that it’s an important question to be answered especially if we are called to love others. I figure the best way to find the answer to that is to ask love itself. 1 John 4:8 says that “God is love.” Now we have added to the question of “what is love”, “who is God?” if we learn more about God we learn more about how to love. The Bible says that God is our Father in Heaven, so is a father's love for their child the perfect love? Guide Of Life

Hey everybody! First off  I would like to apologize for the very late post. I have been in the process of moving and to be honest have been trying to figure out things for myself. My depression has escalated in a way that I am still trying to figure out how to handle. Throughout all of it I am trying to find where my personality went after my anxiety stole it. One thing about depression, at least for me, is that everytime I start to understand it, it changes. It's really draining to be hit with the same thing over and over and yet everytime not know how to cope with it. That is why I haven't posted. I am trying to learn to cope with the depression that is all rooted within my own mind. I get confused on why I cant seem to catch a break in this and so I didnt know how to write about what I learned when I dont even know what to learn yet.
