Warped Reflection

Have you ever looked into a mirror that has a curve or bend in it? You see these kinds of things that make you looked bigger or smaller in areas. As a people of looks, we often think that if I am not skinny or have great hair or pretty skin then I am not going to have friends or be popular. This happens to girls, boys, kids, and adults. We all judge our looks so much that we become sick with envy or sadness. It's as if we are looking into a warped reflection of our lives and looks. Sometimes we believe that our lives aren't pretty. Maybe they are just pretty on the outside but torn on the inside. We always try to hide the bad thing in our life like many try to hide a zit. Why? We are scared to let people know that sometimes lives and situations are wrecked. When we look at ourselves this way, we are letting our old flesh win instead of looking at our new spiritual side in Christ.  we shouldn't be ashamed of our lives. Yes we may feel guilty if something was our fault but mental illness, disease, and things like that are because of the sin in our world. I think it's time we look at ourselves and our lives the way God does. The mirror that God sees us through is one that is wiped clean and is perfectly made because we are forgiven, He has wiped away all of the smudges and fixed all of the cracks and curves. We need to look at ourselves through God's eyes.

Galatians 2:20
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Psalm 139:14-17
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the Earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. How precious to me are your thoughts God! How vast is the sum of them!

2 Corinthians 5:17-18
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.

Romans 8:37
"No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us."
