God's Timing


Jackie Robinson was an African American baseball player who served his country and was still told to sit at the back of the military bus. He was more of a fighter  but he decided to be still and conquer the discrimination against African Americans through a calm storm. You may wonder how could he keep his cool while everyone was going against him. It was because he did everything with the thought in mind that he was pushing forward and persuing for his people. I think that in life if we find something to stand up for, we will be more motivated to continue fighting for it. I know that I do a lot of devotions about standing up for what you beleive in and rebelling for Christ. The reason I do so many is because I know that I will forget to do something for Christ if I am not motivated. By doing these devotions I am hoping to motivate y'all, as well as myself. I deal with a lot of stressors in my life not only due to regular every day things but also because of the anxiety and depression that I have that adds on to the level of stress even for little things. I get distracted from doing things for Christ because I say that it is to much stress right now or I am going through a lot. However, if we, including me, endure it for just a bit, God will give us the rest that we need. We need to be motivated for and by Christ. The peace we search for in our every day will come by giving our days to Christ. Letting Him lead us through every challenge and obstacle will motivate us to depend and trust on God so much so that we never wanna stop sharing the message from the lowest places of the Earth, to the highest rooftops. We can share to a neighbor, stranger, or friend. We plant the seed while God waters it. He is in control and can lead your life if you let Him and trust me, if you do let God control your everyday, you will experience a positive outlook with a cup overflowing instead of half empty or full. Trust God in your life and He will miraculously change you no matter how hard you think it will be. He is all powerful and can create miracles. God loves you, I love you, and there is nothing you can do about it!

What is Love?

     The question that we all ask ourselves at some point in our lives is, “what is love?” Is it, doing things for others, is it seeming to enjoy being with someone more than just as friends. Is it a sacrifice? Is it 50-50 I do something for you, you do something for me. Is it blind? There are a lot of views and opinions on what love could be and what it isn’t. I think that it’s an important question to be answered especially if we are called to love others. I figure the best way to find the answer to that is to ask love itself. 1 John 4:8 says that “God is love.” Now we have added to the question of “what is love”, “who is God?” if we learn more about God we learn more about how to love. The Bible says that God is our Father in Heaven, so is a father's love for their child the perfect love? Guide Of Life

Hey everybody! First off  I would like to apologize for the very late post. I have been in the process of moving and to be honest have been trying to figure out things for myself. My depression has escalated in a way that I am still trying to figure out how to handle. Throughout all of it I am trying to find where my personality went after my anxiety stole it. One thing about depression, at least for me, is that everytime I start to understand it, it changes. It's really draining to be hit with the same thing over and over and yet everytime not know how to cope with it. That is why I haven't posted. I am trying to learn to cope with the depression that is all rooted within my own mind. I get confused on why I cant seem to catch a break in this and so I didnt know how to write about what I learned when I dont even know what to learn yet.
